About Studying Development
Studying-Development.org is an initiative set up by a small group of former LSE development students. Our aim is to provide an easy to use online directory to courses in international development. The resources on this website are intended to help orientate those wishing to enter, or already active in the field of International Development. This directory is international in scope and covers professional training, as well as university degree courses.

Issues of international development are prominent on today’s international political agenda. Interest in university, as well as professional training is strong, and courses have multiplied. Although there are country and university-level initiatives, there is no centralised source of information regarding such courses. Prospective, as well as continuing students are left to their own devices, and spend considerable time researching their options.

We hope to help remedy this and believe that such a tool will be of great use to prospective and continuing students, as well as practitioners. We hope this resource will develop to become a key reference tool, and invite you to participate by contributing your views. If you are a training provider and wish find out more about adding your courses, please click here.

We value any comments or suggestions you might have. We envisage regularly improving this resource and will do our best to take everyone’s views into account.
