It involves analysing how societies are transformed by historical and contemporary processes of social change, and examining deliberate efforts - through governments, development agencies, and social movements - aimed at progress in the vital problems facing many parts of the world.<br /><br />The Centre for Development Studies at Flinders University coordinates an interdisciplinary teaching program that draws on development expertise from a range of disciplines and schools in the Faculty of Social Sciences.<br /><br />Flexible delivery<br /><br />For students who wish to pursue a Graduate Certificate or a Graduate Diploma in International Development, the Centre for Development Studies offers a flexible delivery program (on-line) via the internet.]]></description>
