International NGO Training and Research Centre (INTRAC)

INTRAC is a non-profit organisation working in the international development and relief sector. We support non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and civil society organisations (CSOs) around the world by helping to explore policy issues, and by strengthening management and organisational effectiveness.

INTRAC provides training, consultancy and research services to organisations involved in international development and relief.

Our goal is to improve civil society performance by exploring policy issues and by strengthening management and organisational effectiveness.

At INTRAC we believe in the importance of civil society organisations as alternative and independent actors working for sustainable development in a just and civil society. Values of social justice, empowerment and participation of the poorest and most marginalised groups need to be protected and extended within wider society.

INTRAC contributes to this objective by strengthening the organisational and management capacity of NGOs in particular, analysing and disseminating information on global trends, and supporting the institutional development of the sector as a whole, through a multi-stakeholder approach which includes all those engaged in international development.
